Jack Albertson (June 16, 1907 - November 25. 1981) was an American actor, comedian, dancer and singer, best known for his role as Grandpa Joe in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. He performed the voice of Amos Slade in The Fox and the Hound. In The Fox and the Hound 2, he was replaced by Jeff Bennett due to his death in 1981.
